Paula S. Brock, CPA, joined the Zoological Society of San Diego in June 2001. As chief financial officer, she oversees the financial management of the ZSSD. She has been instrumental in implementing several new financial reporting and strategic planning concepts and systems over the past year.
Prior to joining the Society, Paula was the founding partner in Brock, Tibbitts & Snell, An Accountancy Corporation, specializing in due diligence and securities work. She served as senior financial officer at ITT Residential Capital Corp., with assets of $700 million and a servicing portfolio of over $2 billion. She spent 12 years at the San Diego office of KPMG, working her way up to senior audit manager.
Paula received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from San Diego State University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs, and Legatus International, and was a founding member of the San Diego chapter of the American Woman's Society of CPAs. She is actively involved in many community projects as well.
