Jeff Krisa

Jeff Krisa brings 20 years of experience in semiconductor technology, systems development, international marketing, and general management, along with a personal passion for green technologies, to his role as vice president of Marketing and Sales at Tigo Energy. Jeff began his engineering career at one of the most aggressive U.S. DoE alternative energy projects, by serving an internship with the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor (TFTR) project at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.

Jeff has most recently been providing management and international marketing consulting services to telecommunications and renewable energy companies. Prior to this, Jeff enjoyed 17 years in a wide array of roles at Intel Corp. After joining Intel in a technical engineering position, Jeff transitioned to sales, where he quickly joined the top 10% in revenue generation. Here he made key contributions by establishing Intel microprocessors in network switching and catalyzing the early market adoption of the Pentium processor. After five years in sales, Jeff assumed the first of several operational roles as the product manager of the newly established integrated core logic business. By developing leading-edge products for top-tier PC OEM and Taiwan-based main board customers, Jeff was instrumental in quickly growing the business into a $2 billion annual revenue contribution.

Jeff furthered his expertise in international markets by serving as the marketing director for Intel's Asia Pacific region. During this time, Jeff lived in Hong Kong and was responsible for product, platform, enterprise, consumer, and brand marketing in the 17-country region, which included India, China, Taiwan, and Korea.

Jeff returned to the U.S. to join the management team of Intel's newly formed cellular group. After establishing Intel's initial relationships with worldwide cellular service providers, Jeff assumed responsibility for all external activities, including customer design-wins and ecosystem partnerships for the group. He then joined Sam Arditi's executive management team as the general manager for the Intel XScale processor family, where they accomplished explosive growth by expanding the product line and customer base. Jeff continued in the role of vice president and general manager of the business during its sale and successful transition to Marvell Semiconductor.

Jeff holds a BS in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, and an MBA from San Jose State University.
