Misha Nossik

Misha Nossik is the EVP, Corporate Development, of SIMtone Corp. and the president of SIMtone Canada. Misha was the founder of Thintropy, a startup seeded and then acquired by SIMtone Corp. in 2007, focused on developing the first media-capable consumer virtual PC online.

Prior to that, Misha spent two years with IDT Inc., following the acquisition of Solidum, a fabless semiconductor network processing startup he co-founded in 1997. During his tenure at IDT, Misha was chairman of the Network Processing Forum (NPF), the industry special-interests group, promoting the standardization and use of network processors. At Solidum he served as CEO and later EVP, creating the vision for network processing architecture, playing key roles in product definition and in the raising of over $24M of VC funding.

Misha's prior startup experience includes Skystone, acquired by Cisco; and Timestep, acquired by Newbridge (Alcatel). Misha has over 20 years of experience in the field of computer engineering. He held research, design, and project management positions with Gandalf Technologies in Ottawa, RAD Data Communications in Tel Aviv, and the Academy of Science of the USSR in Moscow.

Misha earned his MSc in Applied Mathematics in Moscow in 1985. He is an active instrument-rated pilot and a member of Cirrus Pilots and Owners Association. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Russian.
