During her career, Adelle Demko has been an advisor to management and boards, an investment banker, a consultant, a founder of a company, a partner of Wedbush Capital Partners - an equity buyout fund in Los Angeles - and previously a corporate and business attorney in New York City.
Most recently, Adelle was involved in the strategy for disposition of a branded medical products company, a wireless company, a boutique resort, and consulting for property development and management. She served on the board of directors of Balance Bar Co. (prior to its sale to Kraft: Nasdaq: BBAR), where she was chairperson of the Audit Committee and a member of the Corporate Development committee. Adelle has also served as a member of the board of advisors/directors of Maps.com and UC Wireless and companies in the software engineering, food product, cosmetic packaging and formulas, and precision hand-tools businesses. She was also the founder of a financial consulting and database firm and the president and COO of a company in environmental food service disposables.
Previously, Adelle was an investment banker at Wedbush Morgan Securities, and prior to that a financial and strategy consultant at Xerox Corp. She attended Directors' College, Stanford Law School, and has moderated panels and conferences on a variety of matters, including corporate governance, roading, and early-stage companies.
Adelle received an MBA degree from Yale University School of Management, a JD degree from Duke Law School, and a BA from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
