About Me
As chief scientist of mathematics, Quinn Jackson is responsible for the oversight of all mathematics (applied and theoretical) at Pattern and serves to integrate the scientific, mathematical, and engineering departments under the roof of applied maths.
Prior to joining Pattern, Quinn was a chief scientist and entrepreneur for a decade working in the areas of bioinformatics, SEC compliance, automated medical and financial report analysis, and NLP; before that, he was chief architect of new systems at Faronics Corp. His work in adaptive parsing and grammar theory and practice has been cited in papers, dissertations, and various other scholarly works.
Quinn is a chartered scientist, a fellow of the Institute of Science and Technology (UK), a senior member of both the IEEE and ACM, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He has also refereed various peer-reviewed journals in the areas of advances in mathematics and linguistics.
