FiRe/Rodel Foundations Intern, Thunderbird School of Global Management
David Snowden is a second-semester MS candidate at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he is focusing on financial operations. This emphasis comes as a natural extension of his previous academic work in international economics and foreign languages. Prior to coming to Thunderbird, David had tremendous international experiences in Europe, Africa, and Asia working and studying with various international organizations. During his time in Kenya, he was able to collaborate with an NGO and local villages to bring sustainable water-treatment solutions to rural shepherding communities. His more recent studies abroad in Beijing, China, have inspired him to pursue a future career in East Asia, where he can utilize his talents in an increasingly crucial marketplace.
David is the Community Outreach representative in Thunderbird's student government, as well as a Finance teaching assistant on campus. Outside of the classroom, he is an avid hiker, polyglot, and rugby player. In the near future, David will be an Internal Audit intern for a Fortune 500 company, and will be graduating in December 2012.
