Tom Arnold is co-founder and CEO of Gridium, a venture-backed energy analytics firm making it easy and simple to manage and reduce energy use based on freely available data. Prior to Gridium, Tom was the vice president of Energy Efficiency at EnerNOC, where he led the firm's energy efficiency efforts.
Tom's first environmental business was TerraPass, a pioneering greenhouse gas management firm whose mission was to make it easy for businesses and consumers to balance their environmental impact. Tom co-founded and led TerraPass for five years and was instrumental in setting up many projects at US landfills, dairy farms, and piggeries. His sense of smell has never really recovered. Tom started his career in management consulting.
Tom has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth University. When he isn't playing with energy data models, he enjoys riding his bike and chasing after his two daughters.
