Anastasiya Shaposhnik is an MBA candidate at the Thunderbird School of Global Management (with an anticipated graduation date of August 2014). She is a multilingual marketing and business development professional with six years of experience with, and in, emerging markets. Her experience includes working in marketing and business development for legal services consultancies in Russia and working in marketing for a global commercial satellite operator in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
At Thunderbird, Anastasiya is very active in The Emerging Markets Business Association (TEMBA), where she is currently vice president. She has an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree in French and European Studies from the American University in Washington, DC. (As part of this program, she spent an academic year in France and a semester in Argentina.) Anastasiya speaks English, Russian, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
