Jay Giraud is the founder and CEO of Mojio. Under founder Jay Giraud's leadership, the Vancouver, BCâ€"based company Mojio has raised more than $11 million from notable investors, including Telekom Capital, the investment arm of Deutsche Telekom; Relay Ventures; BDC; and AOL co-founder Steve Case. Most recently, Mojio was selected as one of just seven initial companies to be part of the Alexa Fund: a $100 million investment fund to fuel voice technology innovation.
Prior to founding Mojio in 2012, Jay led a team that built the world's leading vehicle-to-grid management system for electric vehicles with customers including the US Army, Chrysler, and Burlington Hydro. Before that, Jay traveled the world conquering extreme mountaintops as a professional snowboarder. Today, Jay focuses his efforts on activating the connected-car economy via the Mojio device, open platform, and mobile applications.
A passionate entrepreneur and seasoned speaker, Jay knows how to connect with audiences.
