Anu Vaid is the founder of ParentSquare, an interactive online system designed to help schools and parents partner to become active participants in children's learning. With thriving school-home partnerships, ParentSquare aims to create conditions that are right for growing successful, creative kids.
Anu came into education technology from a computer engineering background. She is passionate about using technology to help make a difference in the everyday lives of people. Anu received the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award in 2015 as a leading woman in the Science / Technology field.
Prior to starting ParentSquare, Anu spent 15 years successfully leading engineering, design, and product teams in building innovative software. Anu has the unique ability to deep-dive technically, as well as conceptualize ideas and understand product requirements talking to users. She moved to the US in 2001 after working at a software conglomerate in India, for which she traveled to the US and Japan for several projects.
