Graphene Technologies (GT) has developed a groundbreaking patented nano-materials synthesis technology that produces graphene from carbon dioxide. Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms tightly packed in a two-dimensional structure and is the strongest, thinnest, and most conductive material ever discovered. A Nobel Prize was awarded for groundbreaking work in graphene in 2010.
The GT synthesis process is massively scalable, economically efficient, and offers the potential to dramatically change the carbon-dioxide dialog from “nuisance waste product” to a profitable resource. All other inputs in the GT process can be recycled. Graphene, truly a “material of the 21st century,” will be used in many different ways by many industries to improve the strength, conductivity, optical and thermal performance, and energy storage capacity of many different products and systems. GT is focused on developing strategic partnerships with major corporations that have large markets where graphene can play an immediate role.
Graphene Technologies is located in the Bay Area, has 12 full-time employees and contractors, and is supported by strong partnerships in academic research.
