Applied DNA Sciences
Using biotechnology as a forensic foundation, Applied DNA Sciences creates unique security solutions addressing the challenges of modern commerce. Whether working in supply chain security, brand protection, or law enforcement applications, it’s the goal of Applied DNA Sciences to help establish secure and flourishing environments that foster quality, integrity, and success.
SigNature® DNA, the basis of all the company’s products, is based on full, double-stranded plant DNA, with all the stunning accuracy provided by nature. Applied DNA Sciences does not use single-stranded, “synthetic” DNA. The mark will not wash off, even in aggressive industrial treatment baths. Results are not obscured by false positives. The company is not afraid to be tested in court. It is not just a warning sticker on a door. SigNature DNA technology enforces deterrent value with real, proven results.
With proven reliability, accuracy, flexibility, and security, DNA markers are the ultimate cornerstone for a wide variety of security/protection efforts:
Supply Chain Protection – The introduction of counterfeit, diverted, or salvaged products / components into manufacturing and distribution chains is a major concern in today’s global supply network. SigNature DNA-based marking technologies help maintain identity and the proper course of legitimate goods throughout the supply chain, from cradle to end use.
Brand Protection – Consumer safety and satisfaction, brand reputation, revenues – all can be adversely impacted by counterfeiting. SigNature DNA markers afford quick and definitive identification of authentic products.
Law Enforcement – DNAnet® forensic tagging systems help to directly link criminals to crimes, creating a better opportunity to identify and convict – perfect for deterring crime at banks, pharmacies, and convenience stores.

Haydale Plc, based in South Wales, has developed a patent-pending proprietary scalable plasma process to functionalize graphene and other nanomaterials. This enabling technology can provide Haydale with a rapid and highly cost-efficient method of supplying tailored solutions to enhance applications for both raw material suppliers and product manufacturers.
Functionalization is carried out through a low-pressure plasma process that treats both mined, organic fine powder and other synthetically produced nanomaterial powders, producing high-quality few-layered graphenes and graphene Nanoplatelets. The process can functionalize with a range of chemical groups, with the level of functionalization tailored to the customer’s needs. Good dispersion improves the properties and performance of the host material and ensures the final product performs as specified.
The Haydale plasma process does not use wet chemistry, nor does it damage the material being processed; rather, it can clean up any impurities inherent in the raw material. The technology is a low energy user and, most important, environmentally friendly. The Haydale method is an enabling technology, allowing the company to work with a raw material producer that seeks to add value to the base product and tailor the outputs to meet the target applications of the end user.

Consumers hate transacting. Just doing business is painful. Be it a payment, communicating with other people and devices, or the exchange of value between businesses and consumers, regardless of type, the customer journey is flawed and costing billions of dollars every year through lost revenue and crippling fraud losses.
In a unique economic era of stringent government cost savings, increasingly unnecessary complexity, and synthesis of individuals and their credentials, the answer to the problem is simple. Going back to who we are.
ValidSoft delivers rapid revenue increases, incredible user experience, and massive cost reductions simply by getting users to talk. Voice biometrics never leaves you, can’t be stolen, and, unlike any password, it actually is the user. It will be the future of how you do business.
