Ivan Liachko is a scientist and entrepreneur with three decades of experience in molecular genetics and computational biology. He is a co-founder of Seattle-based Phase Genomics and three other startups. He is one of the original inventors of Phase’s core technology and has served as CEO and CSO of Phase Genomics since its founding in 2015. 

 

Ivan has authored over 50 peer-reviewed papers and patents specializing in the fields of genetics, genomics, and synthetic biology. Ivan received his PhD from Cornell University and did his postdoctoral work at the University of Washington. He is passionate about applying genomic technology to improve our world and serves as scientific advisor and mentor to several life-science companies.
