Molly Peterson is an award-winning journalist and editor in Los Angeles, with decades of experience in environmental, disaster, and public-health reporting. She serves as an editor at the nonpartisan nonprofit newsroom CalMatters and is president of the board for the Society of Environmental Journalists.

 

Molly’s reporting has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, and on NPR. She is also a non-practicing lawyer.

 

Molly’s work includes a podcast about the toxic airborne pollution threatening communities surrounding California’s Salton Sea.
