About Me

Romi Lifshitz is a quantum AI and quantum security expert, and the co-founder of a stealth AI startup. She earned her MSc in Computer Science and Mathematics under Professor Thomas Vidick, one of the world's top quantum cryptographers. Her original contributions span enhancing the security of quantum communication networks, inventing AI compilers for quantum computers (including the Quantum Deep Dreaming algorithm), developing quantum machine learning systems for climate prediction at PASQAL (a world-leading neutral-atom quantum computing company), and more. 

Romi has been invited to speak on her work at various international conferences, including SXSW in Austin and IFA Berlin, Europe's largest consumer electronics tradeshow. She has also lectured university courses on innovation and mentored over 500 students in entrepreneurship and design thinking. She holds an interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, and innovation, from a highly selective program where she completed the equivalent of two degrees' worth of courses in five years.
