Troy Helming, CEO & founder of EarthGrid PBC, founded two of the most successful renewable-energy companies in the US: Tradewind Energy (the biggest wind developer in the US in 2017) and Pristine Sun (the leading developer of community utility-scale solar farms in CA, WI, VT, MN, and NC). 

 

Troy sits on the boards of numerous solar and clean-energy companies and has been an advisor, investor, executive, or director of over a dozen successful companies. He is an American Ninja Warrior and competed on Season 10 and placed 8th in the world in the Over 40 category at the UNAA World Championships (Ultimate Ninja Athletic Assoc.). 

 

Troy is the author of The Clean Power Revolution (2004) and creator of The Freedom Plan (2005) – a blueprint to convert North America to 100% clean-renewable energy. One of Troy’s driving goals is to save the US economy over $1 trillion per year by eliminating its dependence on dirty fossil fuels.
